7th Annual Sea-to-Sierra starts Oct 5 -7, 2012

The Seventh Annual Sea-to-Sierra cycling tour is a benefit for Women’s Recovery Services. Last year was an incredible success, and loads of fun so we’re doing it again – for a seventh time! We listened to your numerous suggestions/feedback during last year’s event and this year, we’re better prepared and better supported than ever!

Day 1 October 5: Santa Rosa to Folsom (120 miles, ~5250' climbing)

Day 2 October 6: Folsom to Kirkwood (86 miles, ~10000' climbing but GORGEOUS!)

Day 3 October 7: Kirkwood to Tahoe City (53 miles, ~3500' climbing)

Transport back to Santa Rosa on Monday October 8.

Press Democrat's Day of Caring Article

The United Way 22nd Annual Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
Last year volunteers donated their time and energy to complete projects for Women's Recovery Services such as painting, landscaping, and improving the facilities to make it a safer and happier place for the women and their children.

We hope you will join us again this year!

April/May Thank You!!

Thank you for supporting us in the 2012 Human Race! Participants and donors generated over $3,600. Mille Grazie to Marco and Karin, the owners of Ca’Bianca, who contributed an additional $449.25 during Restaurant Week!

Rebuilding Together did a fabulous job on repainting the buildings and the arbor on April 13th. They also replaced 3 toilets and many windows. Just their presence here generated much good will. We couldn't thank you enough!
